Tom: started working with Makoto Sushi Train Restaurants located in Melbourne Central and Emporium Melbourne in early 2018. Over a period of 5 months, we have built up a daily engagement average of 8 new followers, 32 comments and 3.5 uptake of sales offers.
Our strategy to generate foot traffic and returning customers for Makoto connected to a bespoke #HASHTAG data driver, engaging content from top Foodie Influencers and pushing offers to convert conversation in sales. Instagram has shown the greatest growth so we focused our attention in building a diverse audience through this channel.
Once Instagram launched Stories in August 2016, the feature spread like wildfire. As of November 2017, Instagram Stories topped 300 million daily users. Instagram Stories offer social marketers a great opportunity to reach a higher number of people by taking advantage of one of the fastest-growing social networks.
